Lone Wolf is a short film created and released in 2010 by Misagh Alami. It was created as part of a series of media released with The Artifice film project, and was produced in collaboration with creative artists Marlon Lewis, Paul Watkins, and Danielle Gold.
The 2 minute short film is structured in a way where the vibe and tone of the narration changes with a smooth switch in music and pacing. Thomas Marek composed the music specifically with the aim to cater for the change in atmosphere.
Unlike traditional fictional film productions, the music was composed first, and the visuals were recorded and edited afterwards. The short length of the film with its dreamlike presentation and switch in tone makes it a surreal and uneasy experience, even though what it actually presents visually is something completely ordinary.
